May Little Feet Hit The Floor (and not you!)

May found us with the wee one high stepping it around the house.  Matti "walks" from coffee table to Mama, from Daddy to Khaleesi, from the dog's water to the electric cables...  She still prefers bear crawling to get long distances so I'm hesistant to say she's walking everywhere.  But she's almost there full time.  I'm 100% sure Joe and I have each lost 7% of our life span to the minor heart attacks we suffer 23% of every day as Matti traverses the open floor.

Matti is now 15 months old!  Impossible to believe but there it is.

Weight: 16 lb 3 oz
Height: 28 in
Teeth: 6

[photo]  Mattigan loves:
  • Destroying newspapers, magazines, and junk mail
  • Swimming
  • Laughing at Khaleesi when she plays fetch and for no apparent reason
  • Sharing her food with Khaleesi
  • To eat, particularly ice cream and cookies
  • Playing outside
  • Reading books

Mattigan dislikes:    [photo]
  • Being told what to do
  • Dirty diapers
  • Teething
  • Mangoes
Mattigan is a big girl, she can:
  • Say "all done", "mama", "dada", "dog" and "doggie"
  • Walk by herself - current record of 13 steps
  • Brush her teeth
  • Eat cheerios
  • Stack blocks
Mattigan has discovered where the extra toilet paper is ("I'm redecorating, Mama"), the electrical outlets ("I'm just sticking my finger in this socket, Mama"), the stairs ("Dada, I'm just doing my aerobics"), and the dog's water dish ("Dada, I have to wash my hands").  So we've been keeping busy plugging sockets - who the heck invented these things? You can't get them out without a knife, McGyver, and a permit from the U.S. government. - putting up gates on the stairs, adding more locks to the cupboards we didn't think she'd notice, and reminding Matti that we swim in the pool not the dog's water dish.
